This call for papers invites contributions exploring African worldviews, research methodologies, and epistemologies in teaching and learning through African languages. Historically, South African education has been dominated by European languages, reinforcing Western epistemologies while marginalizing indigenous ways of knowing. This book seeks to reclaim African perspectives by encouraging research that utilizes African languages to promote authentic methodologies, teaching approaches, and epistemologies rooted in African-ness. Submissions may be empirical, theoretical, or conceptual, with abstracts due by 28 February 2025 and full chapters by 30 June 2025. Manuscripts must be in a South African official language (excluding English) and adhere to formatting and editing guidelines. For inquiries, authors can contact the listed editors.
