The UFS African Languages Press (UFSALP) is dedicated to publishing high-quality, original research and monographs in African languages, with a focus on promoting access, preservation, and usage of marginalized languages. By addressing the gap left by mainstream publishers, UFSALP plays a crucial role in countering the growing marginalization of African languages. Through its community-centered incubation programs, the press empowers local authors in the Free State, fostering engaged scholarship and supporting the development of graduates who become established writers by the time they complete their studies
